Zanussi History

The Zanussi company was established in 1916. It was created company its founder, Antonio Zanussi. One of his innovations was the first wood-burning stove with a cast iron hotplate in 1920. (Maybe it was where he lived, North-East Italy that provided the inspiration. After all, this new hot stove was soon used to keep pizzas warm.

The products Antonio Zanussi produced were liked and the Zanussi company went from 10 employees to 300 in just over 30 years.
The company worked at improving the little jobs you do every day by building the Zanussi Centre. A place dedicated to bringing innovation, technology and design together.

Another Zanussi first

Zanussi had another first in 1951, when they launched the first gas cooker ever in Europe.

Electrolux

In the mid 1980´s they joined the Electrolux family and continue to come up with products that make your day that much easier.
